we spent time in new orleans with the akers on our way to and from the beach and we had such a great time! it was so fun seeing their new home and spending time in their fun city! the kiddos had a great time playing together...i am not sure who was more tired...the parents or the littles! 
we "sandwiched" the trip with two stops at cafe du monde in the french quarter, two trips to storyland, and two fun visits with some of the akers' neighbors! laura and i even got to have a "girl's lunch"...her kids were at school & mine were with daddy! 
such a fun visit! thanks for showing us a great time in new orleans...can't wait to come back soon!
